Skin Cancer Laser Treatment
Skin Cancer Laser Surgery is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment that eradicates superficial skin cancers while delivering excellent cosmetic results.

The procedure consists of pre-treatment of the area with a fractional laser followed by the application of a topical cream and the exposure to a special red light. This treatment often leads to no scarring.

Superficial skin cancers are confined to the top layers of the skin. Traditionally, these cancers have been treated surgically. However, surgery is associated with scarring and proves difficult in some circumstances.

The non-surgical skin cancer treatment can be grouped into two main categories:

Creams

Topical creams can be prescribed for treatment of superficial skin cancers. A wide range of topical creams for treatment of superficial skin cancers are available on the market, with an average treatment duration of 6 weeks.

They have a long application time, between 6-8 weeks, and long downtime of 8-10 weeks. In addition, they are not as effective as Skin Cancer Laser treatment.

Laser-assisted Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)

Laser-assisted PDT is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment that eradicates superficial skin cancers while delivering excellent cosmetic results.
The procedure consists of pre-treatment of the area with a fractional laser followed by the application of a topical cream and the exposure to a special red light. The treatment takes 30 minutes and is completely safe.
The active ingredient of the cream is selectively absorbed by the cancer cells, and when exposed to the red light, the cancer cells are destroyed by a chemical reaction. Recovery time varies from a few days up to two weeks.
