If you are looking for a solution for keeping your skin’s appearance youthful, a Nordlys laser light treatment might be right for you.
How does Skin Laser resurfacing work?
One of our cosmetic doctors will be using the Nordlys Ellipse Frax 1550 for the laser skin resurfacing treatment. This scientifically advanced technology allows for an effective non-ablative treatment of fine wrinkle lines, saggy skin, and rough texture on face ,neck and chest. With this device, our skin care specialist will be able to control the width and depth of heat energy , customising the treatment based on your skin’s specific needs. This equipment also includes a cooling technology that will make your experience more comfortable.
Laser scar removal uses heat energy on the targeted areas to stimulate your body’s healing process. This results in a tightened skin and healthier and smoother look.
What is the Light & Bright™ treatment?
The Light & Bright™ laser scar removal treatment is a new combination of two non-invasive aesthetic procedures ,Skin Laser resurfacing and Nordlys Ellipse IPL.It targets all aspects of skin aging and can remove dark spots, reduce redness, improve textural irregularities, and treat fine wrinkle lines and saggy skin. The treatment does not break the skin, so the downtime is minimal.
What can you expect?
Prior to your laser skin resurfacing treatment, you will meet with one of our cosmetic doctors for a consultation. They will discuss your treatment goals and figure out how many sessions you will need to achieve your desired cosmetic results. Many patients will see improvement after only one session but up to 3 sessions might be required to attain maximal improvement.
It is also extremely important that you avoid sun exposure and tanning before, during, and after your treatment period. This ensures that your skin will not be extremely sensitive to the light treatment, decreasing the risks of unwanted side effects.
During the treatment, our skin specialist may apply numbing cream. This step is not necessary but can reduce discomfort, if needed. The procedure will generally take between 30-45 minutes, depending on the treatable area.
After the treatment, you may notice some temporary side effects including redness, dryness, and darkening of spots. To help with the healing process, our skin care specialist will prescribe you an ointment to apply on the treated areas. The use of cold damp cloth on your skin may also provide healing benefits.
If you have more questions, don’t worry! Our cosmetic doctors will answer all of them during your consultation and make sure you are comfortable going into your treatment.
